How to understand social conflict in contemporary society ?
The purpose of this course is to identify and analyze issues at the heart of contemporary society. Issues such as the nature of Totalitarism, Civil Disobedience, Cyber attacks, Theory of Justice, Race, Identity, Gender, Religion, Disability, Famine and Social justice are discussed.
The grades of the course are distributed as follows : final exam (50%), presentation (30%) and participation (20%).
